Meet. Dr. Darcy Bennett

Originally from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Dr. Darcy Bennett is not your average dentist. Driven by a passion for helping others and a love for the outdoors, Dr. Bennett brings a unique perspective to his practice in High River. After receiving a scholarship to play football at the University of Alberta, Dr. Bennett took a detour to volunteer as a missionary in the West Indies. This experience solidified his desire to serve others, leading him back to school to pursue dentistry.

A family man, Dr. Bennett is a respected member of the High River community, where he lives with his wife and three children. Early in their marriage they decided they wanted to raise their family in a smaller community. As the search for where to plant their roots and raise their children ensued, they came across High River. When they first visited the town in early 2013, they felt strongly that this was the place they should be. They have been proud residents of High River ever since.

Dr. Benett is known for his dedication to his patients and commitment to strengthening the local community. He enjoys being outside and being active. When he is not busy helping patients achieve healthy smiles, you will find him camping, wakeboarding, running mud races, fishing or playing basketball. If you see him running on the “Happy Trails” or playing at the park with his family, feel free to go over and say hello! He always has time for his patients and is dedicated to serving them.
